Socrates WordPress Theme
This website uses the Socrates Theme for wordpress and it is excellent as far as I’m concerned.
I had quite a bit of trouble building nice looking sites before I found the Socrates Theme.
It is simple to learn and it looks great.

First of all the price is right, at the time of this writing $77.00 for unlimited use of the theme. So you can put it on as many sites as you want for $77.00.
You get a number of excellent videos showing you how to setup the theme and use it and the videos are first class in every way.
It is also simple to download on your current wordpress theme, you just install it and activate it and that really all there is to it.
I have bought a number of things that were so technical I didn’t even try to install them on my wordpress blog.
Getting the Socrates WordPress Theme going is a snap and you won’t find an easier way to go.
Socrates Theme is the Best
I have a friend who has been building websites for years with, Front Page, which is a website software design package and he is the one that told me to go with the Socrates WordPress theme.
With all of his experience, I knew if he liked it that was the way to go.
He has changed all his sites over to the Socrates WordPress Theme and doesn’t use the Front Page website design software anymore.

I know I’ve mentioned it more than once so far, but I know sometimes the thought of trying something new can hold you back from doing it.
I was the same way when I started looking at switching to Socrates, I was wondering am I going to be able to figure this out.
I did and you can to, and the big thing is the videos guide you right through it.

The theme is setup to where you can write your posts and it will put adds right in the posts so the people reading your post are more likely to click on the add.

WordPress Blog Post
When you make a new post in a WordPress Blog you click on the post arrow and click on add new.
Then you put in you title and below that is the area where you write your post.
A post can be writing, links, videos, or any content that you can put in the post area.
Normally the post will mainly be writing and will be an article, but you can use any combinations of information that you want to to get your point across.
One thing you definately want to remember when posting is that search engines can read text and if you stick to mostly text it will help you search engine rankings.
When you are done with your post, you should put in about 5 or 6 post tags or keywords, which will help the search engines find your post, and with better keywords you will get better search engine rankings.
Another thing that is very important to do when you are done with your post is to pick the right category for it to go under.
If there isn’t a good category to choose from, make a new one up, because you want it to be easy for people to find past posts.

Hi !
For people looking to get on the internet a wordpress blog is a great choice because of they are easy to setup and learn.
One thing that has held people back from getting a website is because they didn’t want to, or have time to learn what was involved to get a website up and running on the web.
WordPress blogs change all that as anyone will be able to learn to make a website from a wordpress blog, with a little time and effort.
One of the big advantages of a wordpress blog is that you don’t have to learn website code like HTML.
This site is going to be talking about the wordpress blogs you get from wordpress.org and host yourself, but don’t concern yourself if you don’t know what that means, because I will be explaining that all in good time.
To make a long story short the reason I am recommending not to go with the wordpress blog that wordpress hosts is because then they have control of your blog.
If we host the wordpress software ourselves then we control or blog or website.
The reason I have mentioned blog or website a couple of time so far is because, this is a wordpress blog we will be working with, but blogs are getting close to being websites, to the point that depending on how you setup your blog, often visitors will not be able to tell the different.
Again we’ll go into the finer details of all this in the near future.
